Following on from the initial community views surveys, the next step in creating a plan are workshop events looking at some of the big challenges for the community in the next decade.

Community Action
Shown here are just some of the local groups and organisations delivering community action, that simply wouldn’t exist without volunteering. If it wasn’t for that volunteering, quality of life in our community would be much diminished.
Part of the challenge for volunteering currently, is that for some groups it takes a lot of effort to sustain what they do already, never mind expanding.
This in turn represents a challenge for the future. Below are some of the new community project ideas suggested over the summer.
Without new volunteer capacity many of these won’t be possible.
