The Bridge is the award-winning community newspaper for Doune, Deanston and the surrounding area.  You can buy the latest issue from the Information & Heritage Centre or a number of other outlets in Doune and Deanston. You can also download an annual subscription form and look back over the newspaper’s archive editions below.  Founded in October 2000, The Bridge is published at the beginning of each month apart from August and January.

Run by volunteers from the community, including a professional journalist, the paper provides a platform for local people to express their opinions and also informs the public about important issues affecting them and their daily life.  Coverage of the many local clubs, societies and organisations opens up awareness and access to everyone in the community.  The Bridge is independent of the Community Council, Development Trust and Stirling Council and aims to provide balanced and accurate information about local affairs.
