Acknowledgements

The development of a new Community Plan gives an opportunity for everyone in our community can shape the future of Doune, Deanston, Buchany and Argaty. On behalf of the community and in partnership with the community council, Kilmadock Development Trust is guiding the process to create the plan.  The Community Plan development is receiving support from a number of organisations that we would like to acknowledge and thank here.

Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTAS)

As part of the Scottish Government’s Strengthening Communities Fund, DTAS are providing support for a Development Officer role that is leading the Community Plan development, along with related expenses. They have also produced Community Insights reports that detail facts and figures about the community.

Stirling Council

Through their Community Pride Fund, Stirling Council has provided support towards marketing and event costs to ensure as many people as possible can get involved with developing a new Community Plan.

Sustaining Choices

We are part of PAS’s Sustaining Choices, to create a detailed action plan for local sustainable travel. This will form part of the overall Community Plan. Sustaining Choices has received funding from Paths for All’s Smarter Choices, Smarter Places programme and Forth Valley & Lomond Local Action Group‘s Climate Nudge Fund.
