ROAD MARKING AND STUD RENEWAL ON A9 SOUTHBOUND TOWARDS DUNBLANE BEGINS MONDAY 22ND JULY
Road marking and stud renewal works are scheduled to take place on nine miles of the A9 southbound from west of Blackford to Dunblane between Monday 22nd July and Friday 2nd August.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will undertake overnight works from near Tarneybackle Farm, approximately two miles west of Blackford, to Keir Roundabout at Dunblane.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the works will be carried out under lane closures and convoy working on the A9 southbound carriageway.
Work will be undertaken between 7.30pm to 6.30am on Monday to Friday each week.
Workers will begin from near Tarneybackle Farm and work south, covering approximately 3km each night, until the works are complete at Kier Roundabout.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
