There are two cycle race organised by British Cycling taking place this Saturday on the same course. Starting at 10am and 2pm( expected to end c12.30 and 4.30pm). They are starting from the McLaren Leisure Centre in Callander. There will be a race convoy in place with motorcycle outriders and associated vehicles.
Both cycling races will be 50 miles long which is 1 complete circuit of the following roads:
- A81 from Callander
- B822 to Thornhill
- A873 to Braeval
- A81 to Ballat Toll
- A811 to Kippen Roundabout
- Finishing Circuit : B822 Thornhill, left onto A81 towards Loch Rusky, left onto A873 towards Thornhill left onto B822 and then left onto A81 finishing approximately 0.6 miles north of Loch Rusky
Parking for the race entrants has been agreed with McLaren High School.
We appreciate that there may be some minor disruption to your day with the race peloton passing through, but we are very grateful for your tolerance and patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused to you.
